Short Visits to Edinburgh

Edinburgh has plenty of accommodations for short visits to the city. The best place to find accommodation to suit all budgets is the Visit Scotland website

The following suggestions are for budget accommodation, between £12 and £40 per night for a private room.

Permanent Accommodation

Finding permanent accommodation in Edinburgh can be tricky, looking for accommodation in advance is very difficult, the best way to find suitable accommodation is to come up and visit the city, and then start looking. Be warned its not a cheap city, the average room in a flat share is £300 a month, and a nice-ish one bedroom flat in the city centre will cost at least£450 a month, before council tax and bills.
