Children

Kings is a great place for families and children! Our mission is for children to grow up knowing and loving Jesus and we hope that each of our groups are places where Gods glory is clearly displayed (explaining the vibrant group names!) We currently run three groups every Sunday morning, which take place alongside the main adult meeting.

Sparklers (Age: 9 months – 2½ years)

Sparklers provides a warm, safe and stimulating environment for the youngest members of our Church family. Recently Doris Mrode has transformed this group to provide a fully supervised program each week, so that Mums and Dads are able to leave their children for singing, learning activities, snack and play time whilst they return to enjoy the main service.

Rockets (Ages: 2½ – 5 years)

Rockets provide a wonderful array of fun things to do for pre-school age children. Clare Bissel and her team draw from years of experience in planning each session; bringing together a rich program of playing, creating, painting, singing and learning Bible stories.

Lasers (Ages: 5 – 11 years)

Lasers is a fun, friendly and inspiring place to learn suited to older children. Juliette Dunlop leads a youthful team of volunteers with energy and innovation, providing sessions packed full of creativity, discussion and games in a small group format. Each week, the children are encouraged to think about a bible message, learn a bible verse and pray together.

In each of our groups, parents are encouraged to register their children in and out! As well as safety, this gives a chance to build strong friendships between the team and the Mum’s and Dad’s. We have a fantastic team of leaders and helpers who volunteer to provide our children’s groups. Each one has been subject to a Disclosure Scotland criminal records check.

KingsTots (Ages: 0 - 4 years)

Kings Tots is our midweek group for parents and their pre-schoolers. A great chance to meet other parents, make friends and let your kids play in a safe environment.
