Kings Tots is our baby and toddler group for little ones from birth to pre-school age.

The aims of the group are to build friendships between the children and amongst their parents, and to provide a stimulating environment for the children to play and develop.  There are a variety of activities available each session to encourage this, including:

 

Physical Play: tunnel, rocker, push along toys, hopscotch, parchute games – practice your motor and coordination skills!

Imaginitive Play: cars, trains, dolls, playsilks, animals… what will you do today?

Games and Puzzles: jigsaws, shape sorters, building blocks – have fun solving those problems!

Baby play area: playgyms, bouncy chairs and soft toys for little babies to enjoy in safety away from the inquisitive crawlers and lively toddlers!

Craft Table: colouring, glueing, sticking, cutting and moulding – a different activity each week, create your own masterpiece to take home.

Book corner: picture books, soft books, story books, pop up books… something for everyone to enjoy amongst the cushions and rug.

Snacktime: we provide a drink and snack for the children mid-morning, and tea, coffee and biscuits for parents.

Songtime: at the end of the morning we get out the instruments for a time of music and singing together: simple kids Christian songs, action songs and traditional nursery rhymes.

 

We welcome all babies and toddlers from 0-3 years and have facilities including a disabled access lift and toilets for children with special needs, in addition to standard baby changing facilities.  Please feel free to just drop in for a free taster session, or contact us for more information at: kingstots@kingschurchedinburgh.org  We look forward to meeting you and your children!
