Students
A new community
A place where everyone is welcome. We’ve got food for you to eat, and great people for you to meet.
A new culture
We want to show and live God’s love all the time: at Uni, at home, on the streets. Become part of something bigger than yourself.
A new perspective
Realising who Jesus is and what He has done can change your life. We love to spend time worshipping Him and working out how to live as His people.
So what do we do?
King’s Church meets at 10.30am (and 7pm most Sundays during term time) – a great opportunity to become part of a new community, creating a new culture with a new perspective. After the morning service we put on a free student lunch, after the evening meeting there’s a good chance that we’ll find a nearby pub for drinks and chat. A large number of students are also involved in helping make the Sunday services happen, such as children’s work, music, and practical teams.
During the week we run student small groups, where we can get to know each other better, enjoy God together, and work out how to live the amazing life Jesus has won for us. There are also opportunities to get involved in social action projects, particularly the Kids’ Club we run. Many of the lads make the most of the beautiful Meadows by playing football there every Saturday at 1pm.
Want to know more?
The best way to find out what we’re up to is to join our Facebook group. It’s open to any students and will let you know what’s happening and who we are. You can also email Luke, who leads the Student Team, and he’ll help you get connected.
