Money & debt advice

Are you looking for help with managing money?

We all need a helping hand sometimes. Many people have a hidden cry for “freedom from debt and hope for the future”. One in eight households in the UK are struggling with debt and, with the cost of living rising, this crisis is worsening, affecting both health and relationships. Those with money problems often feel alone, ashamed, and totally trapped.

We are offering help to anyone who needs to get in control of their money and their debts, through our partnership with Community Money Advice (CMA).

The process

  • Once you get in touch with us using the form at the bottom of this page, we will arrange for an initial face to face meeting with you.
  • A friendly Money Mentor will take time to hear your story to understand your concerns.
  • You and your Money Mentor will look at essential information about your income and expenses to discuss some options you may have.
  • With your agreement, the Money Mentor will discuss your situation with a qualified debt advisor from CMA Hub, who will create a plan for you.
  • Together, you and your Money Mentor will work through the plan.
  • We will keep working with you from that first appointment, right through until everything is sorted, no matter how long it takes.

Our commitment

What we would like you to know from the beginning is that the support and advice you receive from us and CMA Hub, our advice provider, is free, impartial, confidential and based on your individual circumstances. We will work with you throughout the whole advice process. There are a number of things that can be looked at and the decision as to the way forward will be up to you, with guidance from CMA Hub.

We are here to guide and support you to access the advice you need, so that you can decide the best way forward to sort out money problems and get out of debt.
