What is Evergreen Café?

Evergreen Café is a place for older members of the community to have fun and make friends. The café is hosted once a month on a Saturday afternoon at our church building (104 Gilmore Place). It is open to regulars and first-time guests. Our team work hard to help build good relationships among our guests.

Each month there’s a different theme, from showing a classic movie to craft to armchair sports day. Perhaps most importantly, there is always tea and biscuits!

Our building is fully accessible and every guest is made to feel welcome with care taken for their particular needs.

Evergreen Café will be restarting in January 2023; our team has continued to give support to isolated members of the community, and has been running activities groups in local sheltered housing. Contact Maria Sigston to find out more.
