Evergreen Café

Evergreen is a community where older folks can have fun and make friends. The Evergreen Café happens once a month on a Saturday afternoon, 2-4pm, at our church building (104 Gilmore Place). It is open to regulars and first-time guests. Our building is accessible and every guest is made to feel welcome with care taken for their particular needs.

Each month there’s a different theme; perhaps most importantly, there is always tea and biscuits!

Here’s what’s happening in the next few months:

Saturday 15th August: Team Games

Have a go at fun group games and friendly competition.

Saturday 12th September: Poetry with Suzanne

Share and listen to heartfelt poems over a cuppa.

Saturday 10th October: Tea Dance

Put on your dancing shoes for an afternoon of music, tea, and memories.

Saturday 28th November: Movie

Relax with popcorn and a good film to end the year in comfort.
