Giving

Generous and cheerful giving

You can watch Dan preaching about generous giving right here, and download the 2026 financial report he refers to here.

There are several ways to give financially to King’s:

  • At a Sunday service you can use our contactless giving stations or cash boxes to donate any amount you want.
  • You can set up regular payments or make one-off donations through ChurchSuite.
  • You can make a gift or set up a regular payment from your bank account directly to ours via online banking . Unlike other ways to give, this is free of any bank charges and really helps us plan ahead. Use our giving form to get started with this.

Whichever way you choose to give, if you’re a UK taxpayer you can increase the value of your giving by 25% at no cost to you! We can claim the tax back from HMRC on whatever you give if you fill in a Gift Aid Declaration.

Money is an emotive issue and can cause trouble in churches, so we work hard to be accountable, transparent, and use the money we receive diligently. King’s is totally self-sufficient and doesn’t receive funding from anyone else. Most of our income comes from the generous giving of our members. The church has a board of trustees, we publish a financial report every year, our accounts are audited independently, and we are a registered Scottish charity (number SC034328).
