Giving

Special Offering (2026)

This year King’s Church is taking up a special offering to provide growth and blessing in four areas:

– To provide a venue for our King’s Church North Community’s Sunday meetings.

– To support churches across Southern Africa.

– To invest in the growth of our New Gound church family.

– To strengthen our Gilmore Place community through building projects that will provide better welcoming facilities and make essential repairs.

You can see more details about these areas in this video.

There are several ways you can give to this offering:

  • You can donate online right now via the button above.
  • You can make a payment from your bank account directly to ours via online banking . Unlike other ways to give, this is free of any bank charges. The account details are on this giving form; please submit this form to let us know if you’ve donated via this method. Thank you!
  • At a Sunday service at Gilmore Place you can use our contactless giving stations or cash boxes to donate any amount you want.

Whichever way you choose to give, if you’re a UK taxpayer you can increase the value of your giving by 25% at no cost to you! We can claim the tax back from HMRC on whatever you give if you fill in a Gift Aid Declaration.

Generous and cheerful giving

  • At a Sunday service you can use our contactless giving stations or cash boxes to donate any amount you want.
  • You can set up regular payments or make one-off donations through ChurchSuite.

Whichever way you choose to give, if you’re a UK taxpayer you can increase the value of your giving by 25% at no cost to you! We can claim the tax back from HMRC on whatever you give if you fill in a Gift Aid Declaration.

Money is an emotive issue and can cause trouble in churches, so we work hard to be accountable, transparent, and use the money we receive diligently. King’s is totally self-sufficient and doesn’t receive funding from anyone else. Most of our income comes from the generous giving of our members. The church has a board of trustees, we publish a financial report every year, our accounts are audited independently, and we are a registered Scottish charity (number SC034328).
