Ready?

The return of Jesus is the central hope of the New Testament, but many Christians today are tempted to focus on the here-and-now. Maybe we judge God’s love for us according to how our life is currently going, maybe we invest our best time and energies in things that will only last for this life. It’s important that we have our focus and hope in the right place, and know how to live in eager and faithful expectation of Jesus’s return and the life to come.
