Evergreen Café

The Evergreen Café happens once a month on a Saturday afternoon, 2-4pm, at our church building (104 Gilmore Place). It is open to regulars and first-time guests. Our building is accessible and every guest is made to feel welcome with care taken for their particular needs.

Each month there’s a different theme; perhaps most importantly, there is always tea and biscuits!

Here’s what’s happening in 2024:

2nd March: Table Top Games

An afternoon of games and a blether.

20th April: Art Space

A chance to try your hand at something new with instruction from a local artist.

8th June: Tea Tasting

Hear from an expert and sample a selection of interesting flavours.

20th July: Sitting Sports Day

Put on your active wear to compete in events for all abilities.

31st August: Memory Lane

A chance to reminisce: bring a photo of a young you.

12th October: Evergreen’s God Talent

Come as a judge or bring your hidden talent to share.

23rd November: Home Cinema

Sofas, snacks, and a classic movie on a big screen.
