Against the backdrop of a time of immense suffering and oppression for the Hebrew people, Moses’ parents are commended for their faith when they choose to trust in God to save their son and themselves, rather than to fear men. In the same way, we need to trust God not only for ourselves but also for the next generation. By trusting in God we find faith that will overcome our fears.
