What is your purpose in life? Is there more to life than this? Does God exist? Alpha is an opportunity to explore these questions and more, in a fun, non-pressurised environment. It’s for people who don’t go to church or haven’t been in a long time and are interested in learning more about the Christian faith.
Our next Alpha course begins on Monday 25th April in the north of Edinburgh. To join in, please get in touch.

Alpha is designed primarily for people who aren’t churchgoers. It attracts a diverse range of guests, including people of different ages and backgrounds, all with differing viewpoints.
Guests try Alpha for a variety of reasons; some want to investigate whether God exists or question what happens after death, whereas others come to discuss particular questions, understand other peoples’ beliefs or explore the meaning of life.
No, in fact, the course is designed for anyone who is interested in asking questions or learning more about the Christian faith. Many guests have never been to church before.
Each session covers a different topic, which people are then free to discuss in the small groups afterwards:
All questions are welcome on Alpha. The course is designed for people to freely ask the tough questions about life and the Christian faith.
Alpha aims to be a low-pressure and non-threatening experience. If you don’t feel that the course is for you, you are under no obligation to return.
We meet once a week for six weeks, starting on Monday 25th April.
We will be holding this Alpha at a home in north Edinburgh.
We eat dessert together, then watch a short video and then have a time of discussion when everyone is welcome to ask questions and share their opinion with the rest of the group.
If you’ve missed a session you can visit the course catch-up page on the Alpha website.
There is no charge for attending Alpha.
