Join the celebrations

The story of Christmas is good news for everyone! Come and celebrate, sing, or simply explore for yourself what makes Christmas uniquely special. Whether you never usually come to church, or you’re a regular attender, there’s a warm welcome for you this Christmas at King’s Church Edinburgh.

All our Christmas events will be held at our building, 104 Gilmore Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9PL. For more information about any of the events below, please get in touch.

Carol Services

Sunday 15th Dec, 10.30am & 7pm

Join in with traditional carols, listen to the original accounts of the Christmas story, and enjoy plenty of festive refreshments!

At our 10.30am service, there will be also be Christmas-themed kids’ work provided for children aged 1 to school year P2.

Christmas Café

Saturday 7th Dec, 1-4pm

We’ll be serving hot drinks and mince pies all afternoon, along with free crafts for all (1-2pm), and a family Christmas movie (2-4pm).

Art Class

Saturday 7th Dec, 10am - 12pm

Learn about mark-making and composition from artist Hannah Kelly, and create a personalised artwork. Booking required.

Christmas Quiz

Saturday 7th Dec, 7-9pm

Test your seasonal knowledge and claim a prize with our brand-new quiz. Come as a team, or ready to join with others. Bring your own drinks, and a £1 entrance fee.

Let's open our homes to our neighbours and share the Christmas celebrations where we live

Sunday meetings

You are always welcome to come along to one of our Sunday services. We will be meeting on 22nd December at 10.30am, we won't meet on 29th December, and we'll restart on 5th January.

Christmas Offering

We will be giving to three good causes:

Christmas hampers for the residents of two local sheltered housing schemes who are visited by our Evergreen team.
Bethany Christian Trust’s work with those facing homelessness in Scotland.
Open Doors serve Christians in Africa who have been displaced by conflict and are experiencing persecution because of their faith.
