New Year... New You?

Living our lives and loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength

"Your word is like a lamp for my feet and a light for my way."

Psalm 119: 105 (International Children's Bible)

What is a Resolution?

A New Year’s resolution is a promise that you make to yourself to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the year. Have you ever made any resolutions?

In this series we’ll be thinking about New Year’s resolutions and what Jesus has to say about them. How does what we do with our minds and our bodies, our time and our talents,  help us get closer to God and honour Him in our lives?

Week 2 – Time with God!

Why is spending time with God important? How do we do it? Should we be trying to read our Bible as quickly as possible, or is there something more important than that?

This week Sophie looks at what the Bible says about spending time with God, helps us with ways we can do that, and asks a Big Question…

The Big Question

Here’s Karis with her answer to this week’s Big Question.

Think About It

Now it’s time for you to think and pray about our Big Question for yourself: Does reading the Bible and praying make God love you more?

You can watch this video from Rachel to help you talk to God about it, and to listen out for what He wants to tell you.

Why not ask a grown-up what they think as well?
