In the final words of Matthew’s gospel, Jesus gives His followers the Great Commission:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
We want to be a church that obeys Jesus, so in autumn 2022 we’re going to focus on the phrases in the Great Commission, and share how some people in King’s, past and present, have responded to it.
We have produced a series of small group discussion materials, focusing on prayer and the gospel, witnessing with the Holy Spirit’s power, and how to make disciples:
Members of King’s past and present share how they tell people about Jesus, and how this has led some of them to move across the world to plant churches. You can watch the latest in the series here, and find all of them on YouTube as we publish them.
Whether you want to explore Christianity for yourself or help others, POD is a great place to start
